***Due to being out last week are having to catch up a day.

Monday:  Guidance lesson from the Counselor; Review the WS answers from last Fridays paper…check for understanding-glue to page 51.; Watch the video lesson over Speed and Acceleration and complete the guidance questions.  place in journal page. 52

Tuesday: Quiz over the formula for speed….a few story story problems to “plug” in the information to our formula. also vocabulary check

Wednesday: In our white literacy book, read and complete the section over Average Speed. Underline Key points to remember.

Thursday: Periodic Scramble….use your periodic table reference on page 2 of your journal to complete this activity. Make sure you use the example to help you complete this assignment.

Friday: Physics Words and Bubble Gum Trivia.

Monday:  Labor Day Holiday

Tuesday:  Elements to know quiz #2; Periodic Table Puns…partner activity

Wednesday:  Periodic Table Puns continued partner work…grade at the end of class.

Thursday:  Our first LAB: Drops on a Penny Lab—Hypothesize the amount of drops that will fit on the surface of a penny….what are variables that could change the outcome from one group to the next….what is surface tension?

Friday:  Test: Atoms

Monday: Complete Illustration Assignment from journal and share.  (grade); Safety Check: Lockdown Procedures

Tuesday:  TEK 7.1 —-Lab Safety Procedures review…take home and get parents to sign..due Wednesday for a 100 in the grade book.  (each day late will result in 10 points off);  TEK 7.2 Blueprint….what is this?

Wednesday:  Lab sheet due; Use the idea of a blueprint and mark the science classroom/lab, depicting exits, fire safety equipment etc.   full list will be on the board.

Thursday:  Continue with Topographic map if needed; Safety Symbols identification

Friday:  Lab Rules Quiz; continue with Safety Symbols Identification
