Monday:  Social Lesson:  Soft Skill #1; return tests to go over one more time to make final answers from last week.  Making sure they understood the instructions before I grade them.

Tuesday: Reward Field Trip…..bring lunch unless you ordered from the cafeteria; you will also need to bring money if you wish to order from the concession stand.  You may shorts of appropriate length and caps can be worn.  You may also bring things to play with at the park.  There are basketball courts, volleyball nets and baseball field.

Wednesday:  Lab: Ice Balloons…study of glaciers/icebergs

Thursday:  Sponge Bob Genetics

Friday: Band will go to Six Flags; others will finish up Sponge Bob Genetics work

Monday:  Lab:  Build a Rocket using household items; Social Lesson

Tuesday:  STAAR MATH TEST—-don’t forget to bring snacks and some water OH!  and a FULLY charged computer!

Wednesday:  Lab:  Rocket Launch….using household items, students will make two attempts to launch their bottle rocket.

Thursday:  Vocabulary Test over TEK 7.14–if ALL 7th graders pass, you earn two blocks on Build the Derrick!!   Finger Print Lab

Friday:  Genetics and Punnett Squares Enrichment

Monday:  EARTH DAY: Reflection on ourselves and what’s to come; Earth Day Video; Return and review TEK 7.12 Test…Retakes are due by Thursday at 3:30pm.

Tuesday: Social Lesson: Perfection does not Exist; Punnet Squares and Genetics TEKS 7.14

Wednesday:  Continue with notes on Punnet Squares; Genetic Disorders Video

Thursday:  Punnet Square Practice     ALL TEST RETAKES DUE BY THE END OF 7TH PERIOD!

Friday:  LAB:  Genetic Scavenger Hunt

****Rocket Launch****each partner group will need to bring:  1) sturdy water/soda bottle no more than 20 oz                 2) tape  3) three pencils of the same full length or craft sticks

If you are going with us on our Reward Trip, your signed paper MUST be returned along with $2 by Wednesday, May 1st.      FORMS AND MONEY GO TO MS. HALL.
